Altered early C18 house. Two storeys. Rendered. Slate roof with coped gables and end chimneys. Large two storey 'L'-plan C20 wing to front left hand side (Post Office). First floor has a two light mullion window over doorcase and a three-light mullion window to right; modern shop front on ground floor. Central door with bracketed C19 hood and door with two arched lights. Gable light to south-east return in moulded reveal. Double saddle roof, rear range with saddlestone to verge.
