4/72 Nancarrow Farmhouse,
and attached wall.

Farmhouse on site of earlier mansion. Early C19. Coursed killas
sandstone, with slate roof.
Plan: Four room plan with central stair hall and rear wing containing
kitchen and service rooms.
Two storeys. Elevation symmetrical. Central half-glazed door with
overlight in C20 glazed proch. Sixteen paned sashes with original glass
in openings with cambered 9-in brick lintels. Roof hipped.
Interior not seen.
Attached to gable of rear wing, a killas stone wall, approx 3.5m high with
hog-back coping and slate under course, runs from wing of house approx 39m
to west, defining north side of gardens against farm road, sweeping down
to approx 1.5m at west end to meet a dwarf wall with spear headed railings
and ornamental gate.
