Remains of wayside cross, medieval base with shaft of c.1800. Roughly-dressed sandstone shaft, approximately 23cm x 25cm x 91cm high, on square base, approximately 56cm x 56cm x 15cm high. Originally marked the point where the road from Castleton to Moorsholm crossed the Old West Road between Guisborough and Whitby.
