ST 55 NE EAST HARPTREE WHITECROSS ROAD (north side)

5/43 Gatepiers at Lower Lodge south east
of Harptree Court

Early C19. Ashlar. 2.5 metres high, rectangular on plan, fluted bases, with
ashlar blocks laid alternately as 2 headers and 1 stretcher forming chamfered
rustication. Projecting complexly moulded cornices with elliptical ball finials
set on 2 rectangular blocks of diminishing size.
