II
House. Early C19 possibly incorporating earlier building, with later alterations
and additions. Rendered, hipped asbestos slate roof with side stacks. L-plan.
2 storeys and 3 windows, all 16-pane sashes with keystone and stepped voussoirs,
central 6-panelled door with reeded transom, fanlight with radial glazing bars,
moulded round-headed surround, plinth, quoin strips and eaves cornice; wing set
back to left has smaller sash at ground and first floor in plain reveals, high
parapet wall and coping. Right return has 3 windows, central ones blind, sash at
ground and first floor left and first floor right, C20 glazed door to right;
single storey wing to rear has 2 sashes as on front, round-headed window with C20
glazing bars and C20 plate-glass window to rear. Left return has small canted
bay to left with margin glazed windows, C20 door to right, first floor right has
3-light margin-glazed casement of later C19. Rear has gable end to right with
C20 plate-glass window at ground floor, C20 sash to left, round-headed sash with
splayed glazing bars (stair light), C20 glazed door, single light and flat-roofed
single storey addition in angle of L-plan, 2 C20 windows at first floor.
