G.V. churchyard about 15 metres south
of the south transept of the
Church of St. Mary

Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone with sandstone inscription panels and top.
Flat top with moulded edge over richly modelled frieze. Richly carved ends
with moulded cartouches and similar central pilasters and moulded base.
Inscription panels badly worn, earliest date 1717 and name Mary Champneys.
