House. Early C18 with C19 extension. Brick, grey with red dressings;
tiled mansard roof. Square plan with extension to east. 2 storeys
and attic with 1 storey extension, plinth, moulded brick cornice at
base of panelled parapet with moulded stone capping, 2 pedimented
dormers to south, two symmetrically placed-chimneys with moulded
stone cornices on east and west sides. South Elevation:- 5 bays
separated by full height pilasters, 5 glazing bar sashes with cambered
heads, exposed box frames, rubbed brick arches and aprons; entrance in
extension to right, C20 6 panel door with semi-circular radiating fan-
light in rubbed brick arch beneath oval window with radial glazing in
rubbed brick surround with keys. Interior:- ground floor front rooms
panelled, with moulded surrounds to raised and fielded panels, dado and
cornice, doorcases- with semi- circular fanlights, fluted pilasters and
scrolled keys, windows with shutters and seats; first floor rooms have
dado panelling and cornices; open well stair in rear hall with carved
ramped handrail, turned balusters and Doric column newels; carved open
