Church. Early C13 with C19 restoration. Flint with stone dressings,
part rendered on nave. Tiled roof, shingled spire. Nave, chancel
and south porch. South Elevation:- nave bellcote-with louvre and
broached spire to left, 2 lancets flanking gabled timber porch with
wide cusped opening over south door in 2-centred chamfered arch on thin
columns with moulded bases and remains of leaf capitals, mass clock on east
quoin; chancel - 2 bays with buttresses, left bay 2-light window with cusped
ogee heads in square headed opening to left of door with recessed moulded
2-centred arch on columns with modified Composite capitals and drip mould
with carved heads at springing, single lancet to right, right bay one
restored 2-light window with cusped ogee headed lights in square opening.
East Elevation:- 3 lancets with oculus in gable. North Elevation:-
Chancel:- 3-light-window with cusped ogee headed lights in square
opening to left of 2 lancers in moulded reveals. Nave:- 2 lancets
flanking blocked door with pointed head and chamfered reveals.
Interior:- plastered.Chancel:- 3 bay panelled timber ceiling with
moulded joists; east end of 3 window arcade with moulded stone
arches on columns with leaf caps; piscina on south wall; timber screen
forming vestry behind altar; chancel arch 2-centred with moulded reveals
springing from short columns supported by carved head on north and corbel
on south. Nave:- 3 main bays, with intermediate arched braced collars,
double butt purlins and curved windbraces; timber bell frame inserted
into west bay; stone tub font.
