Cottage. Late C16, extended C17 and C20. Part timber framed with painted
brick infill, part painted brick; old tile gabled roof of differing
heights. L-plan 2 x 2 framed bays with C20 extension either end, that on
the left set right back. 2 storeys and one and a half storeys. Chimney
on ridge. C20 leaded casements, scattered within timber frame. Entrance
front:- framed gable on left with large curved braces, brick underbuilt
ground floor; half hipped roof and entrance door on right. To the right
of this 2 bays of thin framing. 2 casements in first floor and 2 similar
on ground floor. An old fire insurance plaque on the right hand. To
the right of this a lower C20 extension, painted brick and gabled tile
roof. Interior:- Timber frame exposed with chamfered beams; two large
fireplaces.
