Formerly a village bridewell now a house, late C18. Red brick in
stretcher bond with slate roof. 2 storeys, octagonal plan, 5 faces
have windows, two have doors. Flush casement windows with flat
arches. Half glazed doors at sides of added timber and glass porches.
Three course deep eaves band with dentil middle course. Lead hips to
roof and square central stack.
Interior: Walls of rooms radiate from centre. Cased beams.
