1/55 Newhall Lodge

GV II

Lodge. Early-mid C19. Ashlar, stone slate roof. Single storey. 3-bay
symmetrical facade. Plinth. Pedimented doorcase has Tuscan pilasters and
8-panel door, apron above to eaves. Flanking windows have projecting sills
and retain 16-pane sashes. Hipped roof with oversailing eaves. Central
ridge stack. Slightly later addition to rear under parallel roof of similar
size has part blue-slate roof and brick ridge stack. Left and right-hand
returns have window as front.
