Lodges, gatepiers and gates. Early C19. Ashlar, stone slate roofs, cast iron. Pair of hexagonal single-storey lodges linked by cast-iron pedestrian gates to
gatepiers. Both lodges and piers have plinths, channelled stonework, moulded
bands, friezes and casement-moulded cornices; blocking courses to lodges. Lodges
have facing doorways with slab hoods and a window to each canted side with lintel
and projecting sill (blocked). Pyramidal roofs with central ashlar stack. Piers
have front and rear pilasters. Simple pedestrian gates and matching double
carriage gates have circular motif to base-, mid- and top-rails.
