C18 at west end. C19 at east end. Hammer-dressed stone. Pitched stone slate
roof. Coped gables. 2 storeys. 5 ranges of industrial windows. 1st floor
door with 6 moulded panels up cantilevered stone steps. Remains of brick kiln
inside, with base of chimney protruding outside red brick, with moulded stone
plinth to stack.
This mill was formerly the pottery of the Morton family, potters here since
the late C16.
