House, added to the former west wing of the main hall, now detached
and used for storage. C17 though the east part is a C19 addition.
Deeply coursed ashlar facade with plinth. Stone slate roof with
hollow chamfered copings to left. Two storeys, 3 bays, rectangular
plan. Windows are double chamfered. To the left, 1st floor, is a
12-light mullioned and transomed window with hood mould and gable
over. Below is a 4-light and a 2-light window and a chamfered doorway
all under a common~hood mould. A further entrance to the right of
this with cleanly cut triangular lintel. Above this, to 1st floor,
is a 2-light window. A good projecting reducing chimney breast with
square ashlar diagonally set stack. A single bay to the right, with
5-light window to ground floor and 4-light window to 1st floor, both
with hood mould. The left gable has a broad projecting chimney
breast, but no stack. The other walls mainly C19.

6 king post trusses with 2 purlins to each pitch, support the roof.
King posts braced to ridge. An upper room formerly had plasterwork
resembling that in the Hall (q.v.).
Graded II* for group value with Thornhill Lees Hall.
