Gothic Revival Church. 1870-1 by Walter Hanstock. Pitched faced
stone with ashlar dressings. Steeply pitched slate roof with gable
copings. 4 bay buttressed nave, 2 bay chancel, south porch and
south vestry wing. Paired windows with pointed arches to aisles.
8 clerestory trefoil lights. Triple group of lancets form east
window. Blind west window.
Fairly plain interior. 3 bay arcade to north and south on squat
columns with boldly foliated capitals, and double chamfered arches.
Tall chancel arch. Most windows have marginal glazing. Stained
glass to east window. Circa 1901 stained glass to one south aisle
window. Scissor braced trusses to roof.
