Block of 6 back-to-back houses now 3 dwellings. Early C19. Coursed squared stone,
stone slate roof. Built into hillside: 3 storeys overlooking valley (south front),
2 storeys onto road; 1 bay each. South front: the two left-hand houses, Nos 4
and 3 are unaltered, each having a plain stone surround doorway to left of a 3-light
window with a 5-light window to each upper floor, all windows with plain stone
surrounds and flat-faced mullions. Right-hand house, No 5, has a later doorway
and windows (this end bay possibly an addition or conversion). Paired plain gutter
brackets on table. Shaped kneelers, coping. End stacks, forward of ridge, and
one between Nos 4 and 3. Rear: Nos 3 and 4 are unaltered, each having a door
(No 4's in stone slab porch) to right of a 3-light window with 5-light window above,
openings as on south front. No 5 has later door and window to each floor (first-
floor window breaking table). Paired plain gutter brackets on table. Shaped
kneelers, coping. Stack to left end, forward of ridge.
