Mid/later C19. Stone corner building in mixed style. 3 storeyed plus another
in slated roof. Piers and entablature (now painted) to ground storey with
modern shops. Upper windows grouped in threes plus one to canted corner. Round -
arches to lst floor. Carved and incised decoration. Round topped dormers
breaking panelled parapet. Included for group value.

Nos 4 to 10 (even) together with Nos 43 to 55 (odd) Crown Street form a group.
