Dated 1851 and inscribed 'Akroydon.` Row of 3 stone houses. 2 and 3 storeys.
Gothic with gables and 2 finials to slated roof. Double shop front to east
side of No 51, apparently largely original, 3 mullioned and transomed windows
above one enriched with arch etc over and inscription. Arcade to south return
of ground storey. Plain rear. Nos 2 and 4 Salisbury Place have arched doorways, each 2 windows and a gable.
The Entrance Gateway and Lodge to Burial Ground together with Nos 23 to 51 (odd) form a group.
