Mid/later C19. Stone, Gothic structure with gable over main arch and foot
archway to south. Simple original iron gates and cross finials. Plain 2-storeyed lodge attached to north side: 'L' shaped with plain sash windows and coped gables to slated roof. Cast iron railing to front area matching gates.
The Entrance Gateway and Lodge to Burial Ground together with Nos 23 to 51 (odd) form a group.
