Square late C17 house of coursed gritstone with flush quoins. Appears to have
been re-roofed early to mid C18 with double pitch stone slate roof. Coupled
gables to east and west with saddlestones and shaped kneelers. Stone gutter
spouts to valley. C18 and early C19 corniced chimneys. Symmetrical north and
south fronts with coupled, chamfered mullion and transom windows in chamfered
reveals. The north front has central mullion and transom stair light. Early C19
part roofed gritstone porch with squared jamb doorway to centre of south front.
East and west elevations single mullion and transom windows, some blocked. Moulded
jamb doorway with 4 centred arch in squared head to west front.
