Farmhouse. Possibly C17 origin. Predominantly C18 with extensive
recent restoration. Porch probably built in the 1720's. Coursed
rubble. Ashlar-fronted porch. Stone slate roof. Two storeys.
Three-room, through-passage plan with rear outshut. Two-storey, open,
gabled porch with copings on cut kneelers and string course. Entrance
has moulded surround and cambered head. Internal stone seat to left
and right, 1st-floor 2-light flat-faced mullioned window. lst-floor
oculus to right return. The bay to the left of the porch has thinly-
coursed walling with doorway and altered ground-floor 4-light window
and 3-light 1st-floor window both square cut and recessed with flat-
faced mullions. The two rooms to the right of the porch have been
extensively rebuilt with 3-and 4-light flat-faced mullioned windows
with 6-pane casements. Gable copings on cut kneelers to left. Three
stacks relating to left end of each room. Rebuilt openings to rear.
Interior: Central room has fireplace with cambered head and moulded
surround with scrolled carving at base, and backs on to through-passage.
Scarf-jointed beams. The left room has fireplace with deep cambered
lintel and moulded surround. King-post trusses with struts to roof,
with possibly re-used tie-beams.
