Milestone. Probably early or mid nineteenth century with re-cut
inscriptions. Stone. Triangular on plan with domed top. Inscriptions
on two faces in sunken panels read:

BRIGHOUSE DENHOLME
6 MILES GATE
2 MILES

The original inscriptions were probably defaced during the 1940-45 War.
