A pair of C18 terrace cottages. 2 storeys. Coursed, dressed stone (painted).
Hooped metal gutter stays. Each has a single vernacular form of Venetian window,
having a flat head to the central, taller light and slab surrounds. Below are
shop fronts of early to mid C19 with pilasters supporting entablature including
moulded cornice. The left hand one encloses a left-hand door, the right-hand one
being less wide, with separate left hand door and right-hand gimmel, blocked, with
overlight. No 19 has a rear extension, under parallel roof-span, with a similar
Venetian window in the west end, on the ground floor, having Gothic glazing bars.
