House, now two dwellings. Early-mid C18. Hammer-dressed stone, dressed quoins, stone slate roof. Two storeys. Two cell, central lobby-entry plan with rear wing. Three-bay symmetrical facade. Doorway with raised monolithic jambs and lintel has cyma-moulded surround. Above is circular window with raised keystone. To ither side on each floor double-chamfered mullioned windows with raised surrounds of two wide lights, formerly of four lights. Coped gables with kneelers, and central stack to ridge. Rear wing at right angles, has three-light flat-faced mullioned window with slightly recessed mullions (lacking a mullion) to each floor and a semicircular-arched window above an inserted doorway. Gable stack. The fenestration of the facade bears a striking similarity to No 29 Station Road (q.v.) which is dated 1718. It is likely that this house was constructed around that time and possibly by the same mason.
