House, altered to form 2 dwellings (only one occupied). Mid-late
C17 with C19 alteration. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof.
2 storey. 3-cell through-passage plan double-depth with continuous
single outshut to rear. 1st 2 cells have double-chamfered mullioned
windows with dripmould over ground-floor windows. 1st cell has
4-light window to each floor (both lacking 2 mullions), inserted
C19 doorway with monolithic jambs. 2nd cell (housebody) has 4-light
window with lowered sill, 3-light window above, 2-light fire-window
with small window above, all lacking some mullions. Doorway has a
square head and chamfered surround. 3rd cell re-fenestrated mid C19
has 3-light window with 2 of 2 lights above with flat-faced mullions.
Coped gables with kneelers. Large external stack with offsets to left
gable, one to ridge of right gable, 2 other ridge stacks. Rear has
low-sweeping roof and double-chamfered mullioned windows reading from
left at rear of 3rd cell single light, 2 of 2 lights; chamfered doorway
to through passage; single light (blocked), 4-light and 2-light; 3-light
window.

Interior: 3rd cell has stop-chamfered spine beams which continue through
dividing wall between through-passage perhaps indicating that it was
originally open. Post on padstone to outshut which has timbered-arcade
with wall ties.
