Situated on north side of road by junction with Manchester Road. Circa 1860-70 mill
gatehouse with classical detail. Ashlar pedimented 2-storey gatehouse with semi-
circular archway. The whole surmounted by pierced stone domed cupola. Good
detailing for period, possibly by Lockwood and Mawson.
