Farmhouse of late C17 or early C18 origin altered circa 1800. Two-storeys, rendered front. Large irregularly coursed gritstone rubble to sides and rear. Steep gable and stone slate roof with long outshut pitch to rear. Corniced end chimneys. Circa 1800 one bay extension. Two light square mullion windows. Plain doorway. Former chamfered mullion windows to side and rear. The rear side windows had chamfered mullions originally.
