Apparently a late C18 house but may be of earlier origin as the walls are of irregularly
courser sandstone. Stone slate roof with flanking chimneys. Bracketed wooden eaves
gutter. Two and 3 light square mullion window in squared frames with addition of
mid C19 sashes. Squared jamb doorways. Rear elevation to Beacon Road has similar,
irregularly spaced, square mullion windows.
