Dovecote, Dated 1740 on lintel, upper storey containing dovecote
probably later. Rubble gritstone, upper storey brick, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, single cell. Quoins to ground floor, blocked 2-light
square-faced mullion window, To first floor a central doorway with
ashlar surround, above it a ledge and similar 2-light window with casements
with glazing bars. Two raised stone slabs set in roof slope with
damaged wooden access holes below. Rear: door to left with dated lintel
gives ground floor access only from adjacent farmyard. Interior: upper
floor walls have brick nesting holes.
