Pair of houses in row, with shops. Early C19. Rough rendered,
slate mansard roof. A broad bow front, with curved mansard
slopes, in 3 storeys and attic, 2+2 windows. 2 flat-roofed
sash dormers above 9-pane and 12-pane sashes in reveals on
stone sills. Ground floor has a full-width C20 display front
with very deep fascia. A moulded cornice with blocking course
and parapet,and ridge stacks at each party wall.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
An unusual treatment using the whole frontage as a bow, not
found elsewhere in the town.
