Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, painted stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys, double fronted.
Entrance right of centre has plain surround; plank door. 2 ground floor and
2 upper floor windows are C19 with plain surrounds; C19 16 pane sashes to ground
floor and similar but C20 sashes to upper floor. Modillions at eaves. Right
hand gable and left-hand ridge stacks. Rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance left
of centre has chamfered surround; plank door. Left-hand ground floor 2-light
double chamfered mullioned window; sashes with glazing bars. Right-hand ground
floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned window; fixed lights. On upper floor
are left and right-hand C19 windows with plain surrounds; sashes. Central round
headed staircase window; 20 pane fixed light. Eaves modillions.
Interior: dog-leg open string staircase, stick balusters, ramped handrail. 6
panel doors throughout. C19 Queen post roof, partially composed of re-used late
C17 or C18 principals.
