Formerly workhouse and overseers house, now two houses. Early C19. Rendered, stone
dressings, slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays. Central entrance to Cock House
has plain surround and c1970s doors. Two windows to each floor have plain
surrounds, projecting sills and 16 pane sashes. Hipped roof. Eaves modillions.
Left-hand return of slobbered rubble, 3 storeys 3 bays. Entrance to left
of centre to former overseers house (now Grisedale) has plain surround and
c1970s plank door. 3 ground floor, 2 first floor and 3 second floor windows
have plain surrounds, projecting sills and 16-pane bashes. Eaves modillions.
Left-hand gable end ridge stack and ridge stack to right of entrance.
