Lodge to Gledstone Hall (qv), 1923 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Snecked rubble with
stone slate roof. In an Arts-and-Crafts version of thelocal vernacular style.
L-shaped plan with extruded porch in the angle. Walls and chimneys are slightly
battered. Two storeys. The main, south-facing gable has double chamfered stone
mullion windows of eight lights (with three king mullions) below and seven lights
(with two) above. Other similar windows to the other facades. Two prominent
stacks.
