House probably c.1795 (date on The Dovecote, q.v.). Ashlar and rubble with slate
hipped roof. Two storeys. The ground floor is treated as a 5-bay arcade with
impost band. The outer bays are blind but the central three form a loggia, vaulted
in brick, protecting a doorway and two windows, all with fanlights. Above there
are small square casements to the outer bays and a lunette in the centre, which
recurs on the rear wing.
