House, now with shop. Mid C18. Limestone rubble, gritstone dressings,
graduated stone slate roof. Two storeys, three bays. Quoins. Half-glazed
door with quoined jambs and lintel to left of bay 2. 3-light flat-faced
mullioned windows with casements to ground and first floor, bays 1
and 2; an inserted 3-light mullion window with crude stone lintel to ground-floor bay 3. Shaped kneelers, gable copings, large corniced ashlar stack
left, smaller stack between bays 2 and 3. The house has been known as
Mallinson's Cottage.
