Milestone. Late C18 -early C19. Gritstone. A large rectangular block
approximately 1 metre high and 60 centimetres wide. Incised lower case
lettering on east face: "To / Grassington / 2 miles / To Skipton / 8 miles"
with two pointing hands. West face: "To / Kettlewell / ?9 miles /
Threshfield / 1 mile " with 1 pointing hand. The stone appears to have
been removed from its position shown on the 0. S. map approximately 50
metres north of Catch-all Farmhouse.
