Row of 3 cottages. C18 and early C19. Ashlar, rubblestone, graduated stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Two 2-bay cottages and one single-bay
cottage. Right-hand bay slightly lower and of rubblestone. Bays 2 and 4
have half-glazed doors with plain stone surrounds, roll moulded friezes,
cornices. To right of bay 4 an opening through to rear of cottages. Beyond
to right a half-glazed board door in plain surround. All windows are in
plain stone surrounds. Bays 1 and 2 have C20 casements. Bays 3 and 4 have
sashes with glazing bars. Right-hand bay has a 2-light casement to ground
floor, to first floor a C20 four-light casement with ventral mullion.
Shaped kneelers, stone coping, end stacks and 1 to ridge. Included for
group value.
