Farmhouse. Dated 1690 with C18 and C20 alterations. Sloobered square rubble, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys 5 bays. Rubble plinth. Entrance right
of centre has chamfered surround and decorated lintel dated and inscribed A
G W;
6 panel door. 4 ground floor windows under continuous noodmould which rises over
lintel: double chamfered cavetto mullioned, chamfered fire window with round head
and decorated lintel, two 2-light double chamfered cavetto mullioned windows. On
upper floor are four 2-light chamfered mullioned windows and a small round-headed
single light window above the fire window. Gable end ridge stacks and stack to
left of centre. Rear: C18 outshut houses staircase. Interior contains segmental
arched inglenook fireplace.
