SD 95 NW FLASBY WITH WINTERBURN FLASBY

3/7 Flasby Top Cottage

Cottage. Dated 1683 with C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance has chamfered
surround, basket arched lintel with recent date and inscription: M
R O.
C20 plank door. Windows in right-hand bay have plain surrounds, C20 casements.
Left-hand ground floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned window has narrow central
light, 3-pane sash, and 9-pane sashes to outer lights; hoodmould. 2 upper floor
double chamfered former 2-light windows, mullions now missing, C20 casements.
Square modillions at eaves. Gable end ridge stacks. Interior not accessible.
