Farmhouse. c1700 and c1900. Pebble-dashed brick with sandstone ashlar
dressings, Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays, with 2-storey rear range to
left and 2-storey outshut to right. Plinth. Chamfered rusticated quoins.
First-and second-floor moulded string courses. Central 4-panel door in
c1700 ashlar door-case: architrave with imposts and tall keystone within
surround with scrolled bases, baluster-like jambs with scrolled tops
embellished with acanthus leaves, supporting cornice with broken segmental
pediment. Ground-and first-floor windows: large 2-light chamfered mullion
ashlar surrounds with sashes. Second floor: 4-pane sashes. Hipped roof
with diagonally-placed kneelers at corners. Brick eaves stack to left;
central corniced stack with brick addition. Formerly the Black Bull Inn.
