2 houses, now one hotel. Mid C18. Whitewashed rubblestone, stone
slate roof. 3 storeys, 7 first-floor windows, 3 to left section and 4 to
right. To left: 6-panel door with top two panels glazed, in plain doorcase
with moulded cornice, flanked by a 4-pane sash to left and a plate glass
sash to right. Right section: 5-panel door in plain doorcase with moulded
open pediment. To left late C18 double bowed shop front, with central
doorway now occupied by window with Gothick tracery flanked by Tuscan
pilasters carrying segmental pediment. To right: a single sash with glazing
bars. First and second floors: plate glass sashes to left section, and
sashes with glazing bars to right section. Left end and ridge stacks.
