House, now two cottages. C16 and C17. Greensand and chalk blocks
with flint, partly rendered and partly with applied timbering.
Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 3 bays, lobby entry plan.
Two boarded doors, each to main living room. Paned timber windows,
and two dormers to front, one to rear. Roof half hipped to right.
Brick outbuilding attached to corner of No 17.
No 16 interior has chamfered cross beams halved over cruck couples,
the crucks having smooth curve. Stair behind stack.
