Farmhouse and outbuildings under 1 roof. 1789. Roughcast rubble, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, long range with 4 first floor windows in all.
House: 3 bays of sash windows with glazing bars, with sandstone lintels
and sills. Doorway between bays 2 and 3 with simple sandstone ashlar
classical doorcase and 6-panel door below oblong fanlight. End stacks
plus a third between bays 1 and 2. Farm building on left has a cart-
shed opening and shuttered window on the ground floor, side-sliding sash
window on first floor. Farm building on right has shuttered window to
ground floor. Single-storey thatched long-house with hearth-passage
plan rebuilt in 1789 on a Georgian plan with central passage leading to
the staircase, and roof slated for the first time. Harrison, B. and
