Farmhouse: C17 origins but extensive reconstruction dated 1821 on
rainheads, C20 fenestration. English garden wall bond orange brick,
low pitched Welsh slate roof, 3 brick chimneys (1 central ridge).
F-shaped in plan. 2-storey, 4-bay front. 1st and 3rd bays project
under shaped gables with stone copings. 1st bay has C20 casements,
3rd bay a half-glazed door in an ovolo-moulded wooden surround,
approached by stone steps. Casement above and in remaining bays.
right end gable is shaped and coped as above. To the rear there is a
dentil brick cornice.
Interior: heavy boxed beams in the main rooms. Plain staircase
reported and a pine door with 6 sunken moulded panels survives
downstairs.
