Formerly known as Conygarth. C17 timber-framed and plastered
cross-wing, two storeys with attics to south of late C17 two
storeyed main range, plastered and timber-framed with tumbled
brick parapetted gable and end stack to north. In 1735 (dated
plaque) an external brick chimney with two flues, flanking
windows at both floor levels, was added to the cross-wing. In
angle of C17 range to west is an C18 range of two storeys, red
brick with a parapet gable and end stack and central ridge
stack. Roofs plain tiled.
Street facade. C19 oval window to attic of cross-wing. Four,
first-floor, and four ground floor, boxed hung sash windows with
glazing bars. Central, C18 six panelled door with moulded
wooden architrave and bracketed triangular pediment. Rear
facade has C17 studded oak door and two original C18 iron
casements with leaded quarries. Interior has C18 staircase,
panelled doors and panelled room,. Stop chamfered ceiling
beams.
