The sixth sentence of the description shall be amended to read:- "Two C19 canted
bay windows with coped parapets and five first floor recessed four-paned hung sash
windows with dropped keystones to moulded stone architraves; 3 dormer windows on
the southern elevation."

House formerly a farmhouse. Dated 1727 on plaque in west gable; alterations
c.1889. Dressed limestone rubble, freestone and ashlar dressings.
Collyweston stone slated roof with parapet gables and brick end stacks. Two
storeys with attics; symmetrical five 'bay' facade. C19 open trellised porch
with original C18 pedimented hood, six-panelled bolection moulded door and
rectangular fanlight with vertical glazing bars. Two C19 canted bay windows
with coped parapets and four first floor recessed four-paned hung sash windows
with dropped keystones to moulded stone architraves. Interior: Panelled
staircase hall with moulded cornice, open string staircase. Fire insurance
plaque on main elevation.
