Church hall and former vicarage or schoolhouse. 1855 by
William White. Plymouth limestone rubble with limestone
dressings; very steep dry slate roofs, the hall roof extended
late C20 and sweeping very low at the front; truncated rubble
stack over original front wall flanked by 2 steep gabled
dormers with C20 glazing and further stack over left-hand
corner; schoolhouse has 2 gabled dormers breaking the eaves
and large rendered rubble end stacks. Overall L-shaped group.
2-storey schoolhouse with 1st floor partly in roof space;
single-storey schoolroom with attic converted. Hall has
projecting gable on the left with trefoil-headed lancet and
3-light window to right-hand return gable end. Schoolhouse has
symmetrical 2-window front with central lean-to porch with
arched wooden doorway; late C20 windows in original openings.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
