Detached house on site of manor house. c1800. Slatehanging to
front, otherwise rendered; dry Delabole slate roof behind
moulded stuccoed parapet; 3 dormer windows; 2 rendered end
stacks on the right. Double-depth plan.
2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. Central doorway with
glazed porch with moulded cornice; C20 windows. Rear has
original hornless sashes with glazing bars and small-plan
central projecting wing with open pediment.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: shallow slate-roofed lean-to at end of
house linked to high rubble wall to road frontage on the left
and to semicircular-on-plan entrance on the right with
square-on-plan taller terminal piers and a central gateway.
