Farmhouse. Probably 1630 (reset datestone in nearby barn); remodelled early -
mid C19. South-east elevation. Render, lined out; C20 pantile roof.
3 storeys. 3 large pane sash windows with outer aluminium double glazing;
paired windows on ground floor. Central 6-panel door; projecting porch on
slender columns. North-west elevation. Rubble; pantile roof; rendered
stacks. 2 storeys and attics in steep, coped stone gables. 3 bays: 3-, 2-
and single-light casement windows with hollow chamfered mullions and surrounds
and under dripmoulds and relieving arches. Single storey C19 kitchen wing to
left. Interior. Kitchen: ogee moulded beams with stops; early C18 spice
cupboard. Kitchen chamber: fine fireplace with ovolo moulded surround,
coarsely fluted frieze and bracketted cornice over 4- centred arch.
