Farmhouse. C.17, altered C.19 and C.20. Painted rubble. pantiles, brick stacks.
L-plan with cross passage. 2 storeys, 2 bays with central door. Modern casements.
Plank studded door with strap hinges, ovolo moulded frame. Cross passage has
chamfered beam and blocked winder stair. West (left) room has moulded beams,
C.18 panelled overmantle and shell headed niche (perhaps spice cupboard) and
chamfered 4-centred arch to rear wing. East room has very large stopped chamfered
beam and late C.17 panelled cupboard in south wall. Rear wing has chamfered beams.
Detached kitchen block (q.v.).
